It is my heart’s desire to not see anyone I care about settle for what is less than them. Jesus gave His life, so you may live. What greater way to honor Him, than to live full of freedom and abundance, embracing the philosophy to never settle!
Sometimes, it really does feel like these rough seasons are here to stay. That there is no silver lining in sight. Your circumstances have pummeled you to the ground and you cannot find another reason to smile or go on. But I challenge you my friend, to not look beyond what you see, but to take a great harsh look at your reality. To see how the Lord God is working in your situation and how He is highlighting the unrecognized blessings in your life in new ways!
“I feel like I have all the pieces in my puzzle but they’re just not coming together.” Have you ever felt like this? You know certain parts of your life whether your career or love life are before you and yet you do not have the power to fit these pieces together. No matter how much you pray or spend time with God, this onslaught of adversity refuses to leave. Well, my friends have you considered that a life void of adversity is not written in the books for anyone. Read my post about how I handle a dash of adversity sprinkled through my day.
I hate the jitteriness of anxiety. The crippling unknowns you feel as life’s situations hits you so many different ways. If its not a parent, then it’s a student, or creating an assignment. Read how I handle the effects of unknowns at work, and how the Lord God affirms us, as believers.
Lately, the responsibilities of my life have been doubling up and it seems like I cannot get a moment to breathe. However, the way I respond is entirely different, no longer am’I running from my fears and coping with negative practices.
I cannot have a marvelous year, if I do not trust God and I cannot trust God if I do not know Him. I believe this was definitely what held a lot of us in captivity in 2018. Many did not know God, others did not believe He was faithful, and all of us lacked being consumed by the love of God. In Francis Chan’s “Crazy Love” he reminds us of how God’s love is our motivation to trust Him and live bold lives.
I took a brief hiatus from my time on social for my A Meeting at the Well profile. In the time spent alone, the Holy Spirit taught me a few lessons, and helped me remember how strong I really am.
When was the last time you actually read the Bible? The last time God’s Word renewed your mind and transformed your way of thinking. God did not give us His Word simply for it to collect dust, and if you don’t read it. You are surely missing out on some hidden treasures!
If you’re thinking change in your life is impossible, then don’t let Satan or your flesh fool you! A Christian in Christ has no choice but to grow!
Discipline does not feel good at it. Especially, when you feel like you’re being unfairly punished. Why does God use punishment as a tool? How useful is it?
